Waikuku Surf Life Saving Club Open Day October 14th 10:00

The 2017 / 2018 Season starts from 14 October:

- Ages 5 to 14

- Learn about beach safety and surf awareness

- Improve scocial skills and team building

- Fitness and skills development

- Encourage confidence in the ocean

- Fantasic facilities and equipment

- Fun in the sun (hopefully) for the whole family

- Take your first steps in preparing to become a surf lifeguard

As they develop they are able to participate in board paddling, swimming, sprinting, wading and fun activities and games, dependent on their abilities. At Waikuku the emphasis is on having fun whilst developing skills.

Every Saturday from October to March 10:00 to 11:30ish @ Waikuku Surf Lifesaving Club.

This session is will provide the following:

- What's it all about

- Meet the coaches

- Help with registration

- Any other questions

- Limited water time (maybe) - conditions dependent
